Mary is the other half of Simon Says Run. She and Simon have been running together since 2016, married since 2020, and parenting together since 2021. In addition to being a runner, Mary is a Registered Nurse and starts graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner this Fall.
She can attest to both Simon's skill as a coach and a PT, she was after all his first dry needling patient. She has benefited from years of his simple training approach, race day pep talks, and reminders that we run for fun above all else.
Mary enjoys ascent racing, but prefers cross country and the roads over technical trails. She loves to race and has run PB's at every distance she has raced so far this year Mary thrives at altitude and continues to get faster with mileage, wisdom, and age.
